HAL_9000 wins written by svr, 2008-07-31 23:45 CEST (5 comments)

After a long night of CPM 1v1 action we ended with the Grand Finale between wuxia(aka HAL_9000) and dziku.
dziku picked cpm1a as the first map and won convincingly there but wuxia's home-map cpm22 was very onesided.

The final map after dropping was cpm24 and ended with a pretty close match leaving wuxia the victor.

Standings
1. wuxia
2. dziku
3/4. buxter
3/4. SallyBoy (aka funnyb)

Please send me feedback / suggestions on IRC in #promode on QuakeNet or leave it here in the comments.

See you next month!

Players selected and seeded written by svr, 2008-07-30 23:47 CEST (2 comments)

I have selected the players from the signup and seeded them accordingly.

I first picked certain players based on their skill level. However since I have no indication about the skill level of the lesser known signups I also picked players based on nationality since I wanted to see as many nations as possible.

I am sure some people will be disappointed they werent selected but with 32 spots and over 50 signups its bound to happen. I recommend the people who didnt make it into the cup to be in #play.cpm at 19:00 CEST anyway because there's always the reasonably chance of people not showing up!.

Seedings can be found on the participants [challenges.tourney.cc] page.
